Extract Frame

Grab a single frame at a precise timecode.

  1. Upload your video file.
  2. Enter a timecode (e.g. 00:00:04.200 for 4.2s).
  3. Choose image output format (PNG for lossless, JPG for smaller size, webp for newer compatibility).
  4. Resize if needed - common sizes include 1024, 2048px.
  5. Click Extract Frame and download the image.

Examples

  • Create a crisp YouTube thumbnail: choose PNG, then resize in your editor to 1280×720.
  • Grab an end frame from your video, use it as a start frame in another, to continue it on.

Troubleshooting & tips

  • If the saved frame looks soft, try PNG rather than JPG.
  • Variable frame rate sources may need approximate timecodes.
